Has anyone tried acupuncture for pain in the neck and back? I have a neck injury, a separate disc in my neck causing pain in my neck, shoulders and back.I want to know whether acupuncture is useful for someone who did.
6 years ago I had a minor car accident which left me with irritated facet joints, severe whiplash and fibromyalgia in my right shoulder and right shoulder blade, pain is bad I am soooooo on morphine syrup occassionly morphine injections, but pain relief is more a form of acupuncture needling known as dry instead of using the meridian, inserts the needle into acupuncture Dr. trigger points .... . immediate relief, the only problem for me is Dr. treating me has moved interstate and because the injury is close to my brain I can not find someone else who will. Traditional acupuncture is worth trying too, good luck
I did two times now, going back tomorrow for the session # 3
seems to help with some of the pain and my bad mood elevation
Yes
Acupuncture can help back and neck pain, it is great when combined with massage and yoga. You can get rid of the pain and the formation of new muscles in your back and neck that are to compensate for the loss, yoga helps to add flexibility and strength.
