Blueair Air Purifier

Posted on February 8, 2010.
Blueair Air PurifierIs a 201 Air Purifier BlueAir just above to help my mild allergies?

To better explain my allergies ... I almost always stuffy nose at home and when I walk to school and my eyes water as I walk in the corridors. I also have outdoor allergies such as grass and ragweed. I'm just tired of taking Claritin D on some days. I watched this http://www.blueairstore.com/blueair-201-R.shtml Can you recommend something to someone less than $ 250 that have replacement filters cheaper?

Sleep better. There are many air purifiers with HEPA filters that are less than $ 250, but how useful they will be minimal.

Throughout the day, you're exposed to your allergens. The night is when your body takes over and fights these allergens such as disease. Allergens of the day are still going to be in your body (eyes, nose and throat) and an air purifier does not help that.

You can try to take Benadryl before going to bed and see if that helps.

Also air grass allergies are often complicated by eating grass. You can try a week of not eating wheat, rye, barley, corn or oats and see if that helps. If these foods are causing problems its going to take at least three days to escape so you will see an improvement, so do not be discouraged. By day 5 of strict avoidance, food must be of your system and you should see an improvement if they are a problem.

You can also try to change your house / apt often air filter at least once a month. And make your bedroom very clean and minimalist will also help keep the dust (with grass pollen and ragweed in it) to give the Bay a safer place to sleep.

Also, do not sleep in your clothes during the day. Keep your clothes during the day away from your bed as much as possible. The last thing you need is to get grass pollen and ragweed for clothes in your bed where you sleep with them for the next 8 hours.

I guess you do get tired of taking drugs all the time! And if the air purifier may take the allergens from the air, it will be a great help for you! While you should always keep medications when you leave.

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the brands of air purifiers, Ionic Breeze, but I saw advertised.

Keep in mind that sometimes the cheapest item is not always a good thing: It could actually be defective and thus not only not solve the problem, it might create others. It is the experience.

Good luck!
