Burning Neck Pain

Posted on February 22, 2010.
Burning Neck PainWhat are the causes that I burn / neck pain stings? Treatment?

Im 17 and I consider myself quite healthy. There's just one problem. If i stand, walk or even sit for a long period of time, say one hour, I get this intense burning pain in my neck. It goes in a few minutes, but returned. Could it have something to do with my posture? can be linked to a pinched nerve or maybe its something with my discs? please help!

I suggest you see your chiropractor or physician. Sometimes if you move your head too quickly this can happen too. If you live in the United States could be a bit expensive for the doctor, then try sitting more upright and do not whip your head around too quickly. But you really should see a doctor. It could be a problem that can not be fixed with better posture.

Yes, it could be a pinched nerve, because of your posture. I suggest you consult a doctor for a proper diagnosis. He can do an x-ray or MRI to pointpoint the exact problem. Good luck!

sse your doctor for a diagnosis
