The cabbage soup? I just put all the ingredients in the pot for the soup diet cabbage soup, are you suppose to add water? None of these recipes I looked at said to add water. Just wondering. Thank you:)
You're supposed to add water, if not, how are you going to come with the liquid in the soup? Vegetables do not have much water content, just to eat, see the mixed vegetables in a pot.
Yes
Just enough so you can see there, among the cabbages.
I guess the onion, celery and maybe a bay leaf is in the soup and maybe a peppercorn or two (traditional). Feel free to cheer with the chicken broth (if you're "lazy"), a vegetable broth.
A tip: Do not overcook. Too many to boil their cabbage Dickens makes soft, gray and lifeless. Just simmer until everything is tender enough (the way you want), and enjoy!
Best wishes!
I make a cabbage soup wonderful health and main liquid I use is the chicken broth and canned tomatoes. I add onions, garlic, celery, water chestnuts, beans and just about everything I drag. Sometimes I let it cook in the place where it is rather the taste of soup. Anyway, it is very low in calories. When I was really a diet, I would have a small bowl while I was cooking and he always stopped to pick up things that I would not eat.
you need water to make soup - hence "soup"
