How does chemotherapy affect the regrowth of hair? What can I do to start my hair after treatment increasingly Chemotheraphy?
isn't Selective chemotherapy unfortunately ... it kills fast growing cells - like most cancer cells of the hair follicles ... produce hair cells very quickly and they divide rapidly .. then they are also affected by the chemo .. This is also why many people on chemotherapy suffer from problems of the inner mouth too .. because the cells of the skin in your mouth and other mucous membranes grow rapidly hair too .. should begin to push back normally after the chemo is out of your system
When my wife finished her chemo hair began to grow rapidly.
