Chronic indigestion ...? Over the past 4 weeks, I had about 6 really bad attacks of indigestion. I ended up taking loads of Gaviscon and Pepto-Bismol to try to heal. The pain is very intense and takes hours and hours at home. The pain is just above my ribcage in the middle of my chest. I have not fried or spicy foods, soft drinks or alcohol. Anyone know what it may be involved and more importantly, how to treat it? Please Help!
and you should see the doctor and you know that is how safe to do, so please do, and good luck
You should see a gastroenteroligst (stomach, intestine ... specialist gastrointestinal tract) ... She will perform tests on you, not painful or dangerous, do not worry ... and she discovers what is wrong. There are things that can locate your cause indigestion and if something bad or worse happens there, seriously, go to the doctor, do not take the chance ... you need medicine, something better than Pepto Bismol.
I have chronic gastritis, ulcers frequently, and GERD. This is not funny, but I have to take prescribed medication over the counter orders, and it can help you!
Get better!
You may be suffering from the syndrome of acid reflux disease. Protonix is a great help, took one every morning and raise your bed, put wooden blocks under the posts before bed to get up, do you cough too?? Yes, we know it's hard Just to talk to the doc, waiting, in this case, try the liquid Malox. It's better than what you make today. My husband has this matter. Oh and yes, they are a generic Protonix now! Much cheaper and it works quite well as my husband.
Go to your gastro. In the meantime, I suggest going on a diet soft fruit, no fat, fiber, milk. You can eat things like bananas, apples, pears, mango, peeled, and your symptoms should ease.
This could be a symptom of a major underlying cause. Consult your doctor or a gastrointestinal specialist ASAP.
