Being diabetic does not mean that everything has to taste bland and boring, as breakfast, lunch and dinner are the times of the day you can not look forward to. It simply means that you may have to plan a little more and take more time preparing food.
Here are some tasty and easy to make great food for diabetics to anyone who is tired of eating the same foods over and over again.

<b> Diabetic Cookies </ b>
1 1 / 4 c. water
1 1 / 4 c. shortening
2 v. seedless grapes
1 / 2 c.. nutmeg
2 v. tea. cinnamon
Boil all of the above for 3 minutes. Cool. Beat 2 eggs. Dissolve 1 / 2 teaspoon salt, 1 tsp teaspoon soda, 12 1 / 4 ground saccarin in 2 tablespoons of water. Add to above mixture and add 2 cups flour and 1 c. teaspoon baking powder. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

2 v. water
2 v. raisins
1 tsp Unsweetened applesauce
2 v. flour
1 tsp tea. vanilla
2 eggs
2 v. soup. liquid sweetener
3 / 4 c. cooking oil
1 tsp tea. baking soda
1 1 / 4 c. tea. cinnamon
1 / 2 c.. nutmeg
raisins in water until the water has disappeared Cook. Cool. Then add applesauce, eggs, sweetener and oil. Mix well. Mix baking soda and flour. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. You can add nuts, or artificially sweetened fruit cocktail may be used instead of raisins, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or more.
