I am writing an article on eating disorders for the health of my class. One of the questions I would like to respond to my paper is how much weight a person will lose if they normally eat and then spend a day without eating.
I searched the internet but can not find a thing.

I used to be anemic when I was 14 years ... I weighed 115 ... but after three months of being sick, I went to donate 80 pounds ... they had to put myself in the hospital because I was really low. I could eat a cookie and I would be full, so they had to feed me through an iv. if u have an eating disorder you do not realize how much weight you lose a few months later, when uu realize how sick. I hope this helps a bit ...

I mean I eat lunch ... Wen then it came time for dinner I ate ..... i didn't choose not to eat ... I just never hungry .... im hungry or rarely .... do not know how I lost weight or if I even lost, but I do not know ...... disorter this (not sure what it was) lasted a month or two .... report abuse

THIS IVE and never known, but when I was 11 or so I stopped eating normal portions of food .... so I did not eat anything ... Do I pay attention to my weight didn't because it wasn't in my mind. I still acted fine, I felt good ...... Sometimes I was hungry and had a snack but I do EATE dinner2 Flag

Probably nothing infact they could win. The body does not store as much fat as the judge he needs, whether it realizes it is missing from more stores. Infact the opposite is true, if you eat several small meals a day (like 6) your body will burn fat faster. People with eating disorders, losing weight after long-term abuse.

each person's body and metabolism are different

Each person is different. A teenager is expected to lose more than one person aged mainly because the metabolism of a young person is faster than an older person.
Why not do the experiment yourself? Spend a day without eating - to drink water, even if - and how much you lose.
Weigh your thing in the morning, like that, you do not weigh food and water you just consumption.
Whenever you weigh, weigh at the same time each day to be compatible.

they wouldnt lose anything. would u starve ur self for a week to lose anything

in fact, will you gain a little fat because your body stores excess fat meal earlier, then you eat again, things will be back to normal, but if you do not then the fat will slowly disappear.

People can not lose fat, but they will probably weigh less than people can lose body fluids and stomach seems smaller, but no real weight would be made visible
