Dental Braces: the master before they can master! Wearing dental braces can be one of the hardest things we ever did in life. Yet it need not be this way. I am writing this from my heart to anyone who has braces and need to know how to control them instead of you controlling them. braces should not be a constraint, they can actually be fun, if you master a few areas on the first day you get on ...
I am sure that this letter comes in a variety of age groups, that is my hope and prayer. You see, I'm 41 years old and I felt a bit odd to full braces. Everyone in the waiting room was 7-25 years, but my dentist to have them, or do not expect to straighten my teeth. If your child, I hope you like this article, if your an adult, I hope to encourage you to the greatest too.
Let's get to it. How can you control braces, instead of you controlling them. A little caveat: what worked for me might not work for you, so please, follow your dentist or physician directions first and foremost, but I'll be frank and to the point of help more of you now.
The best advice I had from the outset. Relax. Relax and try not to think about them being in your mouth. In fact, the assistant told me: Do not think about it. Be yourself and be normal. This is priceless. Why?
The first day I got braces I wanted to take them back and tell the doctor to pull them out of my face. I even thought about the $ 4,600 I had to pay (my insurance does not cover because I'm over 25) and thought about how I did not care even if I had to pay, just to end the bottom bracket to rip into my cheeks!
All right. So I am not trying to scare you, but wearing braces can be difficult if you do not control them before they can master!
First, you must have fun, laugh and be yourself as you did before you got your braces. I know, I know how say "do not eat sugar, no sweets, no caramel, etc., etc., etc., again, follow the instructions of your dentist, but I say, instead of moderation, and enjoy your food!
Your teeth are going to hurt for a while. There are things that are normal that you do not feel are normal. I already called my dentist and all the following are normal, believe it or not: the loose teeth, you will be able to touch your teeth and see them move, pain, oppression, and much more.
My dentist told me I would feel normal in about one to two weeks. Not at all. It took me about a month and a half. After one month, I began to feel like the old "me" and begins to enjoy my food. Now, about food. Please do not make the mistake I made, do not try to eat with all your teeth right away.
I thought, ok, I'd better all be normal, so let's go ahead and chomp away! Ugh! I had so much food stuck in my front teeth you may have filled two packs of gum with it! Do not chomp away. Do not eat like teeth are not affected. While each person is different, but if I could you please give this advice. If you used to brush hard with a brush, if you are a gentle brushing and good for you. If you were brushing hard like me, you'll have to back up a bit!
Let me explain. I went through a lot of pain to cancel during the first weeks starting away on my bottom teeth. Before me I would just like braces and scrub brush. However, the bottom tooth is one that is bent, so I really rub Daylights a loose tooth. Not a good thing.
Make your teeth are moving now, you would not clean a moving car with a jet sprayer 500 pounds, so do not make it with your teeth. You must be a little more sensitive to yourself.
Again, the first two weeks for me, I wanted to take the braces back to the dentist. Now.
