Can anyone tell me the difference (advantages / disadvantages) of these trainers bike inside? I started training for a person of 65 possible 100 mile bike ride in May and am looking for a good bike trainer. I found this on Craigslist, but do not know the difference. I have a Trek hybrid. Thank you.
1 - AF-500 unit performance by adjustable resistance of fluids - $ 100
2-unit performance SD-200T Resistance Trainer - $ 100
3-The Fluid Primo Elastogel trainer - $ 175
If you do not want to spend so much money and do not mind the sound. A CycleOps Magnetic Resistance training gets the job done.

Oh, back to the coach. I have rubber mats under the carpet and my trainer back to block the front wheel to isolate vibration, and I found that some of the noise stopped.
I would skip the first two. And I do not know much about the third.
CycleOps is generally considered the best trainers in the cycle. The CycleOps Fluid2 is expensive, but worth it.
As one of my friends said ... there are three possibilities in your trainer.
1. Cheap
2. Calm
3. Realistic
But whatever happens, you can get two of the three options. It's just a matter of picking which two are most important to you.
I had the wind "trainer" style and I can tell you they are noisy. Strong enough to make them almost useless, because you can not watch television, listen to music, or talk to anyone while you're on it. It is simply too strong.
The most important thing for me is that the sense of realism. ie it should increase the resistance the faster you go. Just like real cycling.

With news that you have a warranty and whether it is good to go. I bet that you have found are not better than the new $ 130.
EDIT: BTW, fluid and Mag are good vairly quiet and offer a good resistance.
