Can you still get pregnant after gastric bypass Surgury for acid reflux disease? Can you still get pregnant after gastric bypass Surgury for acid reflux disease?? If you have any info that would be of much help. I Might have Surgury gastric bypass for my acid reflux disease and I want children??
Yes you can still get pregnant. The doctor who did my surgery states that you must wait at least one year after the derivation of getting pregnant. I do not take into consideration, but I know others who have had surgery and continued to bear children. Your care during your pregnancy will be a little different from others because of the ring, but you can do. I hope all goes well, if you decide to do so. This is a lifetime commitment that I have no regrets.
I had my gastric bypass surgery Forerunners Healthcare Consultants in India, I do not regret at all I had a baby and since then I am still able to take the weight off so far I am very happy. The key is to use a renowned surgeon. Want to be carefully screened in advance to ensure that you are a good candidate. Since my surgery, I can walk without getting tired, I can play with my son, I can walk down the street with his head held high. I feel pretty for the first time in years. I was given another shot at life. Surgery is a tool and how this tool works for you!
I would do without hesitation. I recommend everyone who suffers the same problems as I did before, but I urge anyone interested to find the best surgeon possible and make the decision based on the recommendations of the surgeon and your personal goals! Make sure that the reasons for surgery are good. The surgery is not for someone who just "wants to be lean." Do it for your health, your life, for the family. FOR YOU.

Hope this helps.
Yes you can still get pregnant. They are two different systems of the body and different functions (Reproductive - pregnancy / tract - food)
You should always express your concerns to your doctor so they can reassure you.
Honestly, I do not know. but I know that during your pregnancy supposed to eat a fair amount and have a good amount of weight ... at least 30 lbs. If your stomach is so small that your baby will not get as many nutrients as it should.
Yes you can but you should consult a physician in high-risk pregnancy due to vitamin and etc, but many people who have this surgery are able to design more easily and without problems.
First thought is that it is unrelated to your fertility - your stomach has nothing to do with the ovaries or uterus so that you are able to bear children.
Good luck!
