How I saved $ 8500 using the dental care system in Mexico I'm Brian Garvin, now in Oceanside, California. which is North County San Diego and about an hour north of the border from Tijuana, Mexico. Two weeks ago one of my teeth were really bad, so I went to a local dentist for an estimate of Oceanside Dental.
After discovering that I needed a root canal, 4 Crowns, 7 and broke a tooth fillings of work, Oceanside dentist wanted me to pay nearly $ 10,000. They even offered me a finance plan close to a year, with interest, of course, who ended up being $ 967 per month or something like that.
Many of you reading this can probably relate to what I say here when I say I am right has not had that kind of money for dental care only, but it was a Catch-22 I I still need to make teeth. I am a veteran honorably discharged with 40% coverage, which means that all my medical is covered, but not dental. So I heard several times that you can get your teeth done in Mexico for pennies on the dollar and save a mint to do.
I was desperate for a solution, if I drive my car on the South I-5 Freeway until I got to the last exit. It's very, very last exit before being forced to drive into Mexico. Then I made a left and a quick right turn just before the McDonalds and parked at a parking fee, if my car was still on American soil.
So I'm in the tunnel and the bridge you enter on the right side of this open quad area, and walk across the highway and finally by the great doors swirly pipe only go one way, lol.
After I got off to an open space, past an inspector and I did my real right TSRI I could do. Then I walked into a second set of doors, looked left, and who was a dental office. There are actually two of them there. I mean a real, legitimate dental office right when you enter Mexico. And no, not a cab in the city was needed was a relatively short walk and a lot of people to help if you're lost, almost like an airport environment.
So I walked in and they saw me right away. All this work took place over three visits and approximately seven hours and was drilling totaling approximately $ 1,550.00. That means I saved $ 8500.00 or 85% without having to buy expensive dental insurance. And in doing so is 100% legal and ethical, I even told the immigration officer in the manner that I just had my teeth drilled for four hours, lol.
By the way, is $ 40.00 for a cleaning. I like the best price.
The dentist did a great job with the anesthesia. The prosecutors have been china and not in gold or steel. The dental office was not very pleasant, no plasma TV displayed while your teeth drilled. But it was relatively painless and they did their job with dignity and I felt treated with respect and all the financial terms have been exposed to before.
Overall, it was relatively easy and even fun experience. I made a point to eat lunch every three times I was there. I really like their road-side all the beef tacos and large fruit bowls. There are few places in the area shortly after you enter the right to sit and eat less, I ate one of them. They say Delicioso!
Whenever I returned to the United States, I had to show my driver's license. Beware, the rumor is that they may be requiring passports to return soon.
I loved the experience so much, I also plan on going there every few months for a cleaning, because that's what you're supposed to do!
