Hearing Assistance

I work with a girl who has a disabled husband and she needed new hearing aids which, as I understand it costs about $ 4,000. She lives in Georgia. Is there anywhere she can apply for aid to help with the costs? We work in a doctors office and are on the phone a lot. Someone please help.
