Are there jobs in the operating room for someone with hearing impairment to complete an ear? I like to go through education for something in the operating room as I do, but I am afraid that I stress, if I can not hear a ear.If yes, what majors I Norma through.I can go have another hearing in the ear Thank you.
I do not know anything for you, but I think you would do well in most things. For example, you simply position yourself near the operating table with your right ear towards the person in charge. Another thing to think is that everyone wears masks in the operating room and you lose the ability to read lips. Many people do not realize how to see the face helps to understand speech. And you can also get a hearing aid to help you hear the bad side, even if you used it at work in assisting you with one operating room to be able to hear both sides. There are hearing aids that is simply a microphone that picks up sound from the side of bad ear and wirelessly transmits the sound of the good ear so you can hear both sides. This is called a CROS hearing aid. There are a few options as well. I would like to speak with certain people in your areas of interest and see what they say. You can also seek advice from a professional rehabilitation of disabled or office at your college. Most of your hearing loss should not limit yourself to something you want to do as long as you're willing to seek, obtain and use the accommodation you need.

I think it all depends on how you compensate. If you can hear and understand people speaking at normal volume, I do not think it's an insurmountable problem.
I'm not sure. success
