Can you get influenza type B and A at the same time? I took my son for a nasal swab test (flu) today, and this test has two lines, showing positive for both influenza A and B. Is this normal? Yes, doc said he had fever, and yes we are all now on Tamiflu. H1N1 is "flu", I've collected on other research. But how can he have influenza B as well? Is this common?
you can ................. not common, but ................... can happen
Hello, yes it is possible but not common .. The main crisis that swine flu could mutate in the future become more deadly if someone is infected with two types of flu and while they mix in the same body. Only two days to the relief, the tests showed that the swine flu showed no desire to mix with other influenza viruses .. Ferrets were infected with swine influenza and another type of flu and swine flu prevaled meaning that swine influenza is now very unlikely to transfer .. As I said, it is very possible but not common as a person would have to come into contact with two types of flu at the same time which is unlikely. He may have symptoms slightly worse, but it has yet to fully recover.
