I am prediabetic and had a microalbumin test - test gauge. The result was 23. Is it high? I see the range of laboratory is 0-20. All the nurses have been called to say the doctor said it was nothing alarming. Can anyone provide any indication of what number? If someone is monitoring this? Do I need to eat less protein? Thank you.
Your 23 is on the low side of the upper range. If you run the diabetes in your family, I would see a specialist for you.
