Let me start by saying I've been in recovery 28 years, an addictions counselor for 25 years and now a probation / parole officer and counselor for the past 8 years. My clients primary school are girls (18 and older) and women.
Over the last two years of heroin and morphine is again very popular with teenagers. From conversations I had with my younger clients, it seems that their first start with Mom and Dad or Grandma and Grandpa requirements, which were prescribed for real reasons. It seems that teenagers get into prescription drugs, having parties, bowling, which is all adolescents raid their parents / family requirements and translate handles the game. It's very dangerous, because they are mixing all sorts of requirements and usually have no idea if it drugs high blood pressure, Viagra, pain pills, Xanax, or God knows what else . As they go to several of these "get together", they seem to know more about what they take.
Also in big cities, there are all types of methadone clinics and that people are often the children stand around looking to exchange both drugs.
Morphine is legitimately prescribed increasingly for the elderly and less kept locked, it is easy for children to get these Ahold. It is rare that people keep their medications locked up, nor do they count them up close.
