What medication reduces the swelling of osteoarthritis? I have swelling and pain in my left ankle osteoarthritis, and I want to know what medicine to help reduce swelling and relieve pain, which is sometimes so unbearable that I must go to the bathroom Emergency hospital for pain medication (morphine) to take the pain. There must be something available that I can take on a daily basis to miniminze pain and swelling. Please help me. Thank you.
no drugs - to carry the pain is not in pain. (Use or lose) rest and ice packs help + elevation relieve swelling
What about a sort of anti-inflammatory? Motrin and aspirin. If the pain is so bad why not ask your doctor put you on Vicoprofen. You do not need to suffer like that.
I have arthritis in my hands and ankles. When it ignites I use Tylenol Arthritis. you can buy in any store.
Provided you do not have blood clotting problems Voltaren works really well, you should adjust the dose depending on your pain, but it was very successful, but it is not recommended for use over long periods time, you're supposed to take a break with what could make no use, but they also make a cream Voltaren, you can, but low-dose pills and cream from the pharmacy, but a higher dose is needed on order.
