Otc Sleep Aids

Posted on February 12, 2010.
Otc Sleep AidsWhat are the counter sleeping pills better for short periods of use?

I'll make a trip on Sunday and I'll stay in a hotel. I find it extremely difficult to sleep in hotels and I think to get a sleep aid to help me. I will only need to take it for two days. What are good sleep aids over the counter that could help me? Again, I only need to take it for two days.

I'll just tell you my remedy. I buy chamomile tea and that helps me to sleep quickly. Tazo has one. Tea calm. You can get to the supermarket. And they also carry other brands of chamomile tea. I also used the pills that I buy at GNC Quiet in general. They also help you to sleep without making you groggy the next day. Some pharmacies carry it, but not all. These are good, too. I hoped that helped.

Tylenol PM

or Benadryl allergy - two of these make me sleep, and it is not even "sleep aid"

Unisom is half a great work --- I'm surprised to see that one on the Mediterranean cons

go with something like Tylenol PM ...
It will help you fall asleep and it is so soft that you will not get aid to sleep "hangover" the next morning.

Tyleno PM. I had to make when switching from days to night and back. It does not leave you "icky".

The active ingredient in OTC sleeping pills are recommended for use in the short term is diphenhydramine. This is the same as a Benadryl tablet. You can take one or two Benadryl. Make sure you are not currently taking any medication that contains diphenhydramine (such as cold medicines against the flu or antihistamines) and it will work well for you.

You can also try valerian root, chamomile and tea

Benadryl

Advil PM or Tylenol PM
