Recurring Mouth Sores

Posted on February 24, 2010.
Recurring Mouth SoresWhy do I get these painful sores in the mouth?

Question:

I have suffered with painful, recurrent oral lesions for a year and a half. They appear as inflammation, coarse white and red spots on my gums near the tooth. My doctor and dentist say I just have to put up with them. I have a diet relatively healthy - a student - but I also suffer from what appears to be sores on my lips. They first appeared with a serious bout of tonsillitis and swollen glands six years ago. Please help.

Answer:

Mouth ulcers are round patches of exposed tissues, which are painful, if you explore them with the language, because people tend to unconsciously. spicy foods or alcohol can also trigger the pain. If you have an ulcer many and great, eating becomes extremely difficult.

Mouth ulcers have always puzzled doctors. Medically known as aphthous ulcers, and also known as canker sores, they look like ulceration of the mucosa, but there may have different underlying causes.

The most common cause is the fungal infection candidiasis. The features are white spots, which can be erased by the language or with cotton wool to allow a crater with exposed raw tissue that contains nerve endings and blood vessels. These craters are painful and may bleed. Candida is a form of yeast that has tentacles, or roots, called hyphae. These penetrate the lining of sucking nutrients from the tissue below. When enough nutrients have been extracted and the tissue is ulcerated, moves to the surface of another healthy candida, where he continues to form ulcers.

The antibiotics were originally derived from fungi and their prolonged use promotes fungal infection, such as Candida. broad-spectrum antibiotics has led to a predominance of fungal and viral infections. This fact is recognized by many medical doctors.

Deficiencies of vitamin B and a severe lack of vitamin C can also lead to mouth ulcers. Other causes include excess stomach acid, chronic constipation, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and stomach ulcers. Some foods, such as hot peppers, pineapple, cloves, yams, ginger and radish, can also cause local irritation of the mouth, triggering ulcers. Sometimes people are sensitive to certain drugs or chemicals in toothpaste or mouthwash.

In traditional Indian medicine, mouth ulcers are signs of body heat. It is manufactured, for example, eating game, pigeon or red meat that has been cooked slowly for a long time with herbs and spices (pepper, cloves, ginger, garlic, cumin, saffron), and the excess butter or ghee, almonds and pistachios. The remedy is to eat cooling foods such as raw onions or spring, cucumber, cilantro buttermilk or yogurt melon.

I suggest the following

* For about four weeks, eat simple food steamed, broiled, boiled or poached with olive oil, salt "mint, parsley, anise, coriander, spring onions or - nothing else. (You may lose a little weight.)

* Avoid all yeast and fungal products (bread, pizza, pot, ready to use sauces, some canned goods, beer, wine, mushrooms and cheese).

* Avoid citrus or acidic fruits (orange, grapefruit, lemon, pineapple, mango, tomatoes, kiwi, rhubarb, vinegar).

* Eat a salad of cucumber (with yoghurt and spring onions), juice of watermelon carrots, cooled tea with fresh mint.

* Take kadu: Soak two branches in a cup of hot water during the night, strain and drink in the morning.

* Take vitamin B complex: a day for two months.

* Take vitamin C: one tablet of 500 mg for two months.

* Take acidophilus bifidus with: every day for a month.

* Consult a qualified homeopath. If you are prescribed powerful homeopathic remedies may worsen your mouth at first, but it will subside and the condition will be cured.
