Residential Treatment Centers

Residential Treatment CentersAre there residential mental health centers in or near Texas?

I'm looking for a residential treatment center for mental health. Something long term for one year or more. For adult males only. I searched and searched and I found nothing. I need a professional to help me. He has bipolar scitzophrenia. Thank you.

I used to be a deputy sheriff here in Texas, and one of the things I have been to transport patients to various mental health facilities. Most of them were state facilities, but I remember who I believe is a residential facility. The atmosphere was so much better than most, and patients enrolled in this place freely and voluntarily. Occasionally, when I want to take someone or Terrell Rusk, they spoke of how they preferred to Glen Oaks Greenville TX .. Perhaps they have been there before, or just heard, I do not know. I even had people tell me they do not cooperate with me, so I took them to Glen Oaks. And some did not, and they beat you. I really hated it. I remember the place. It is just off of I-30. I do not remember forcible return, if they have or not. I do not think they do, but that is up to the stipulations and the trial court and the place of business. You can contact them to know. It would probably be worth it. they are held by a company that may have facilities nearest you, depending on where you live. Any facility, as will be less pleasant than the house, and there will be some kind of lock-down privileges and monitored. However, Glen Oaks only allow a certain amount of tobacco, which is a big problem with most patients most of whom smoke. They can visit and make clothes for their relatives. I visited all of eastern Dallas, Texarkana, Tyler, in Rusk. Glen Oaks seemed to be the best. I do not remember names, but I also remember a little more relaxed atmosphere and references volunteers in Sherman, perhaps Atlanta and Tyler, but Oak Glen is your best bet. MHMR may know of some, probably not, but they generally focus on state facilities that I saw. More often than not, relationships with patients MHMR was problematic violence.

Mexico

Call the Mental Health and Mental Retardation Center. MHMR. See if your city has one and call them. Look in the yellow pages under the heading of public hospitals, centers, clinics and ask them your questions.
