allergy nasal sprays can cure sinus infection? I had a sinus infection for over a year now, and used a saline (salt water), antibiotics (a package, but does not work (it was after I had 8mths the infection)) and took NASONEX Rhinocort Claritin. So what treatment is recommended? sprays allergy can be cured because im seeing an allergy specialist and have the appropriate spray
allergy spray does not cure the infection. The allergy specialist will find the right antibiotic for you, and treat your allergies with pills and sprays. Be pepared for allergy testing. It's worth it. I had chronic allergic rhinitis for years, and I get sinus infections too, but not as much as I did before I saw the allergist.
Arm Hi,
It seems like you see an allergist, but you hope to treat an infection. Not likely.
The allergist will determine what substances you are allergic. It will help to control allergies. He may refer you to your doctor if you have the view that infected sinuses.
You go a lot of good things for the rest cure your sinus infection. I note that you have not reported a single sign of sinus infection. It is possible that you have an allergy related sinusitis.
Good luck.
