Has anyone heard about the vaccine that can cure skin cancer? I heard a commercial for an article on the news about a dog with skin cancer that was cured by a sort of vaccine. I do not know the name of the vaccine or whether it was actually skin cancer. Does anyone know anything about this?
Well, the vaccine does not cure the disease - they prevent. It is more accurately called a treatment (although I note that the news outlets are calling it a vaccine, too).
It's actually a vaccine against another disease that happens just because the human immune system to attack melanoma. Sort of a treatment backdoor. nice idea, too.
I have attached a link.

There is no known cure for advanced stages of skin cancer. There are about 55 vaccines and / trials for melanoma (skin cancer) treatment. If skin cancer is detected early enough, biopsy and excision have a high cure rates. Unfortunately, if it is not detected, advanced stage, melanoma can be deadly. There are many different treatment options availible. It depends on the stage and extent of melanoma Clearinghouse. (If the melanoma has spread to lymph nodes and / or other body parts.) Melanoma My friends and I would most certainly heard of this vaccine! You can try asking on the website: http:mpip.org. I'm sure everyone there would be interested to hear about it ... they would certainly check for you. They are a group of people diagnosed with higher stages of melanoma ... The search for "healing".
