Sleeping pills? Are they worth it? or are they causing more harm in the long term - that is making people rely too much on them to help them sleep and then completely destroy any possibility of their natural sleep?
There is someone with experience of taking sleeping pills that could share - good and bad?
Thank you very much
I take seroquel to sleep. I have been on it for almost 2 years now. if I didn't take SEROQUEL I never sleep. it works very well and I feel refreshed in the morning ... no hang over feeling. I take 30 minutes and I'm sleeping like a baby. SEROQUEL is a non-addictive drugs that all medications you are benzodiazepines are highly addictive. I would stay away from them!
I wish you a good night's rest! Best wishes!
Melatonin helps a little. It is cheap and you can get it at any pharmacy without a prescription.
cannabis is a natural sedative and u dnt have to smoke it.
"I used to be on some ones prescribed. I got to the point where I will not sleep at all if I took them. Dr. Upping have kept my dosage. It reached the point where they began to diminish in this way I could get them. There are others, you can get in the store called Simply sleep. I am now.
Do not I have taken for more than a year. I now have problems with my chest. He makes funny noise sometimes when I stretch and it cracks. I sometimes take the sleep aid of ASDA, but that's all. I stopped the tablets prescribed.
I take stilnox when I can not sleep. They are very strong.
You can try tamazapam first time, they will probably be fine.
Is it worth it ... Yes and no. I do as I am a shift worker and I need to be able to work after a work week of night work, and again on days.
Try things like, do not eat too much before bedtime, do not drink beverages with Caffin, a healthy lifestyle with proper diet and exercise during the day (I think it helps a lot, but do not time near the bed), relax and try things like meditation and reading a book.
Drugs are not a long term solution.
I take trazedone and it puts me straight to sleep, and I have not had any problems with drousy be tomorrow morning.
Prescription sleeping pills are better than the cons.
They put me of mirtazapine for me to sleep as I do not want to go on a benzo. it is used in small doses, I'm not there in half an hour and wake up the next morning not remembering to sleep. this med is for me because it acts as a switch to turn me 'off' of the stimulatory effects of high dose veneflaxine.
