We are doing our thesis to develop software for image steganography watermarking. This method is okay? Can anyone suggest a better one?

Yes, it is a good solution because they are resistant to changes, which simpler algorithms can fail.

Other solutions are based on the property of translation invariance of the Fourier transform magnitude Coefficent .. ... they could find a better name you can not find?
