Venous Stasis Ulcer

Posted on February 24, 2010.
Venous Stasis UlcerI have edema and venous stasis ulcers. I felt the water running in my leg, inside of my leg.?

I have not been fully diagnosed - I went to an urgent care facility and I try to have a primary care physician. The nurse practitioner gave me medicine for high blood pressure / fluid pill and an antibiotic for ulcer. But she said he had seen a primary care physician. Should I be concerned about this feeling of water?

It's something to tell your primary care physician. It is a type of referred sensation you are feeling nervous, which means it comes from a place, but the sensation is carried along the nerve. Your doctor will be able to determine whether or not it requires any special attention.

Yes and no - the water "down the leg - the heart of" feeling probably due to nerve damage and interaction. I had several strange things while nerve neuropathy progressed in my legs that was finally diagnosed as Lyme disease. But you need attention, because complications can lead to deep infections being extreme loss of a part of your leg.
