Amakhala Game Reserve

Rehabilitation Centre Moholoholo

Many animals in South Africa have the misfortune of falling ill or suffering from poisoning, often due to human negligence, and Moholoholo Rehab Centre (located in the Limpopo province) focuses on the restoration of these animal health and reintroduce them into nature. It is the ideal investment for those interested in the veterinary aspect of conservation. Along with his rehabilitation efforts, the Centre also has a very successful breeding program, currently focused on the very rare Taita Falcon.

Addo Elephant Park

Many people considering taking a vacation wildlife conservation, will have a particular animal, they are interested to work with. If you want to work with elephants, the Addo Elephant Park in the Eastern Cape will be the natural choice for you. Founded in 1931, when only 11 elephants remained in an area that was once populated by hundreds, the Addo Elephant Park now has a population of over 450. Management herds of this size takes a considerable effort, and the park is always looking for volunteers to help track and monitor elephant herds.
