What is the easiest way to get rid of this antivirus xp 2010 virus?

These viruses false security system are a real pain to get rid of. And many get by my real program antivrus active. You can try the removal tools, if you want, but many do not work.

This was done whenever I get one with XP. At least 8 times so far during the last 6 months and it is simple.

It works every time.

Turn off the computer.

Reboot and when the home screen is by appointment and run System Restore to a time prior to infection (yesterday).

You must start the System Restore program before loading the virus to be quick.Once viral loads it wont let you start the restoration program.

Someone called me an idiot sugesting present. I wonder if they work for the removal tool Cos?

Of course, we must find a clean environment.

Run a full scan after the restore if you want to follow and if your restore point was not clean, or revert to a previous one.

Bleepingcomputer.com use ComboFix, and download malwarbytes (you may need to rename the setup / configuration to something like winlogon.exe in order to be able to run or install) from malwarebytes.com or softpedia.com, then clean the rest of the virus with SUPERAntiSpyware and Hitman Pro 3.5 from softpedia.com / cnet.com and just in case you have a rootkit on your system use GMER majorgeek.com (gmer use to scan and delete anything red.)
